Friends of Thropton Village First School

This is a group of parents and friends of the school who meet to support the school and advance the education of the children.  The aim is to hold a range of social and fund-raising events throughout the year that involve the whole community.  Funds raised by the Friends have been used to provide the school with a sun shelter, ICT equipment, a digital camera, outdoor play equipment, furniture and books.  Recent events have included a boat race and the annual Christmas Fair.

Anyone connected with the school is regarded as a Friend and if you would like to be involved in the group you will be warmly welcomed at any of the future meetings of the Friends of Thropton Village First School.  Further information is available from the school or members of the committee, headed by the Chairperson, Mrs. Alison Donaldson.
